Worship meets a vital need in our lives. It celebrates and nurtures our relationship with God. We worship to praise and glorify God, to experience the presence of God and to be connected to our brothers and sisters in Christ. At Saginaw United Methodist Church, we desire for our worship to be a place where you can “come and find the quiet center” - a place where you can be grounded in your relationship with God and experience restoration and renewal.

Our worship services are held at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Rev. Jon Farrer leads and preaches in an engaging, dialogue style on topics of depth and substance. Our sermons do not offer easy answers or prescriptives that can be applied to your life. Rather, we seek to be challenged and transformed by the living and active word of God that cannot be contained or simplified.

Our 11:00 traditional worship service offers liturgy and moving hymns and songs of praise. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month at the 11:00 a.m. worship service.

Nursery care is provided for young children, ages 0-2, during all of our morning worship services. Wee Worship for preschool aged children is held during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Children are invited to come to the Sanctuary with their parents and come up front for the children's sermon. Following the children's sermon, children attending Wee Worship are led by church staff to room C-18 for a worship service designed just for them. Parents, please pick your children up in room C-18 at the conclusion of worship.

We hope you will join us for worship to encounter God’s presence and to enter into God’s calling in your life.
