Project Transformation - July 9-12

Volunteer to read with a child this summer!

Project Transformation is a ministry of the Central Texas Conference of the UMC to provide summer childcare to underserved and at-risk children. Each day at Project Transformation, children who attend are paired with a church volunteer to spend time reading together one-on-one.

Saginaw UMC volunteers are invited to come and read with kids during the week of July 9-12 at University UMC from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. SUMC volunteers do not need to commit every day. If you can only help one or two days, that’s great! Volunteers do need to commit to being present for the full time on the day or days they volunteer. University UMC is located at 2416 W. Berry Street in Fort Worth. Volunteers can meet there at 9:30 a.m. or meet at SUMC at 9:00 a.m. to ride together in the church van.

The volunteer opportunity is also open to youth, and anyone age 13 or older is welcome to participate. Volunteers will need to be Ministry Safe certified if they are not already.
