Volunteer at Vacation Bible School!

Adults and Youth

June 25 - 29 | 9 am – noon

Our VBS is growing, and we need leaders to help guide our kids on the rolling river!

If you’re an adult or youth entering 7th – 12th grade, we need your help at Vacation Bible School! Adult volunteers are needed to be teachers and VBS shepherds. Youth volunteers will help assist children in the classrooms and participate as co-leaders in music, art, games, and storytelling. Plus, youth can earn up to 20 hours of community service!

Complimentary nursery care provided for ages 2 and younger for VBS volunteers during our VBS program. Child care provided for all VBS meetings.

Register as an adult volunteer!

Many thanks for Lauren Chambers volunteering to Chair VBS again in 2018! But, we are in need of a VBS Co-Chair to help lead River Rampage this year! If you are willing to help in the planning, recruiting and execution of SUMC’s 2018 VBS, please email Elizabeth Marshall

From science experiments, to building projects, to cooking, music and improv games, this week will entertain and empower your children to be curious, creative and confident in their ability to make the world a better place! We need volunteers to help lead rotations! If you have a skill you’d be willing to teach to elementary-aged students, please email Elizabeth Marshall
